Today, we received an impact report from Yumeko for the year 2023, and the figures are impressive. It’s gratifying that Blendin has been able to contribute to this. So what was our share? Thanks to the purchases we made for the furnishing of our hotel, a staggering 3,360,000 liters of water was kept free from harmful chemicals last year. Three million three hundred sixty thousand… That’s quite a result!

Today, I happened to want to place a new order with Yumeko. To my pleasant surprise, I discovered that their website is closed today. Why? Because it is Earth Overshoot Day—the day when we have consumed more natural resources globally than the Earth can renew in a year. Yumeko has closed their website for the day with the message… Do you really need it? Sleep on it for another night. What a powerful statement for sustainability.
